Eid al-Ghadir Mubarak from Muslims-US IRH (Islam, Religion of Health)!

A Celebration of Guidance and Light

Dear brothers and sisters in faith,

On this joyous occasion of Eid al-Ghadir, the Islam Religion of Health (IRH) extends its warmest wishes and greetings to all Muslims in the United States. May this day be filled with blessings, reflection, and the strengthening of our faith.

What is Eid al-Ghadir?

Eid al-Ghadir is a significant Islamic holiday that commemorates a pivotal event in Islamic history. According to Islamic tradition, on this day, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) delivered a sermon at the place of Ghadir Khumm, on his final pilgrimage to Mecca. During this sermon, he is believed to have declared Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS) as his successor and the rightful leader of the Muslim community. This event is seen by many Muslims as a divine designation of leadership and a source of continued guidance for the faith.

Significance of Eid al-Ghadir

Eid al-Ghadir holds deep significance for Muslims, particularly those who follow the Shia tradition. It represents the continuation of the Prophet’s (PBUH) message and the establishment of the rightful leadership for the Muslim community. It’s a day to reflect on the importance of seeking knowledge, following guidance, and upholding the principles of justice and compassion.

Islam, Religion of Health: A Message of Unity

At IRH, we believe in the unifying power of Islam. Eid al-Ghadir is a reminder that we are all part of one Ummah (global Muslim community), bound together by shared faith and values. This day serves as a perfect opportunity to bridge differences and come together in celebration and brotherhood.

Celebrating Eid al-Ghadir

Muslims across the world celebrate Eid al-Ghadir in various ways. Some attend special prayers and gatherings, listen to sermons about the significance of the day, and engage in acts of charity and good deeds.

Eid Mubarak! Celebrating Eid al-Adha with IRH

From the Muslims of the Islam Religion of Health (IRH) in the United States, we wish you a joyous and blessed Eid al-Adha!

Eid al-Adha, also known as the “Festival of Sacrifice,” is a significant Islamic holiday celebrated worldwide by Muslims. It marks the culmination of the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca and commemorates the Prophet Abraham’s (peace be upon him) willingness to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God.

This Eid is a time for reflection, gratitude, and expressing love and compassion. Muslims attend special prayers, share meals with loved ones, exchange gifts, and donate to those less fortunate.

Here at IRH, we celebrate Eid al-Adha by upholding its core values:

Sacrifice: We strive to embody the spirit of sacrifice by promoting healthy lifestyles and encouraging positive changes within ourselves and our communities.
Compassion: We extend a helping hand to those in need, both within the Muslim community and beyond.
Gratitude: We express our thankfulness for God’s blessings, including good health, family, and the opportunity to celebrate this joyous occasion.
During Eid al-Adha, we encourage everyone to:

Reflect on the importance of sacrifice and its application in daily life.
Show compassion to those in need by donating to charities or volunteering your time.
Express gratitude for the blessings in your life.
Spend time with loved ones and strengthen family ties.
May this Eid al-Adha bring you peace, joy, and the opportunity to connect with your inner self and those around you.

Eid Mubarak!
