Rahim is rooted from “رحم” on the strength of “فعیل” is anthropomorphist adjective.

Any anthropomorphist adjective implies constancy and durability of that adjective. Therefore “الرحیم” illustrates the durability and constancy of God’s mercy, without any kind of condition or limitation, whatsoever.
