Laylat Al Qadr – 2020

Laylat Al Qadr is considered the holiest night of the year for Muslims, but is not known certainly. It is believed to be one of the nights on the 19th, 21st, or 23rd day of Ramadan. In this great night, the fate of everyone is destined, which is why this night is more valuable than thousand mights. Muslims worship and praise the whole night until dawn, when light is conquering the darkness.

Martyrdom of Imam Ali

In Shia, the saints are the 12 successors after Prophet Muhammad. The first successor or Imam is Ali bin Abi Talib who was born in Ka’bah.  This shows his greatness and values before Allah. He was the one who looked after the orphans of the town and feed them in the dark of night, anonymously.

Coronavirus is a scourge, an exam or an opportunity

Coronavirus is a scourge,

or an exam,

or an opportunity

Dear God:

If this is a scourge, we repent for all of our intentional or unintentional sins and mistakes,  please accept our repent and banish this scourge from us.

If this is an exam, provide us with succor to become glorious and honorable in your exam. God please don’t assay us with a means that we can’t tolerate. Please give us such a strength and potency to conquer in this exam with health and success.

If this is an opportunity for mystics, God please empower us with consciousness, determined wills and courage. Please help us to comprehend this challenging moment and seize the hidden pearl in it.

You are the almighty, most compassionate and merciful.

Amen

Eid al-Mab’ath: The Prophecy of Prophet Mohammad

Eid Mubarak We wish all happy and blessed Muhammad’s first revelation. With this blessing Eid Mab’as let us exemplify the morals of the prophet in the daily life.

Happy birthday Imam Ali

Muslims of United States (IRH) celebrated Imam Ali’s Birthday on 8 March in honor of a leader who had devoted his precious life to Islam. Imam Ali was the cousin and son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad, the founder of the religion of Islam.

We at the Muslims of United States (IRH) performed Namaz with the remembrance of Imam Ali and his work. Mr. Babaee narrated some parts of Nahjul Balaghah, the book that contains key speeches of Imam Ali, and pointed out that our Imam believed that knowledge belongs to who knows and then acts accordingly, so that his action corresponds to his knowledge.

Heartbreaking Plane Crash

Our deepest condolences to the friends and families of those who passed in the Ukraine Airline Flight 752 crash. God bless them all.
God, help humanity to overcome savage attributes until there is no such massacre!
Lord, by this we are asking for inner light, and true health to be able to fill the world with serenity and mirth.
God, govern true Islam throughout the world such that everybody be able to experience peace, health and amity.
God, remove the roots of ignorance and religious distortions.

Amen.

Birth Anniversary of Sayyida Zaynab (p)

Muslims of United States (IRH) held an event to recall and show respect the birth anniversary of Sayyida Zaynab (p).

We celebrated this joyous occasion first by a recitation from Holly Quran and serving cookies and food. In addition, imam of the organization, Mohammad Bababee, gave a keynote speech about exemplary life of lady Zaynab. He brought up the key role that she played in tragedy of Ashura and emphasized on how a woman can be influential during critical moments. Mohammad Babaee spoke about the answer of lady Zaynab when it was asked “how did you view God’s work with your brother?” and she responded back “I saw nothing but beauty in the work of God”. This impressive response in her sermon is showing how perspective of our lady is inspiring given the fact that her brother had been martyred by his enemies at that time being.

Happy New Year 2020!

Muslims of US (IRH) wishes everyone a Happy New Year!

May the world be filled with peace, health and happiness…
May the world finally achieves unity…
May the world be full of calmness and serenity…
May everyone have compassion for others…
May everyone’s heart be filled with love…
May the world experiences God’s presence as bright as the sun above…
And feel His blessings around as well as believe He is always near…

Merry Christmas Greetings

Merry Christmas

Happy splendid and miraculous birth of Jesus Christ, who brought the message of love and peace to the world.

Jesus, or Isa Peace be upon him, is a Holy Prophet of the highest order in Islam. His birth is mentioned in various places in the Qur’an:

Behold! The angels said: ‘O Mary! Allah gives you glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ [masiyah, messiah] Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honor in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah; He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. And he shall be (of the company) of the righteous. The Qur’an 3:45–46

Merry Christmas to all the humans, especially Christians.
